By using the mRNAs, can you identify the genes that were expressed only in vivo? In which method?

You are doing your PhD research in a reputed university, and in your current research project, you are trying to identify the virulent genes of a pathogenic bacterium X. One day your supervisor came to you and handed you a tube that contains mRNAs. The mRNAs were extracted from the bacteria X, which were harvested from an infected host. By using the mRNAs, can you identify the genes that were expressed only in vivo? In which method? Explain.
