Hello! Great question! The type of cells that contain chloroplasts are plants cells, as this allows the cell to undergo photosynthesis. They contain a green pigment known as chlorophyll, giving leaves that distinct green color, and allowing a certain wavelength of light to be absorbed for photosynthesis to occur, as light is needed as a reactant! Hope this helps!
