Bachelor's in Music Education, Clarinet Concentration
My service stands out through ingenuity. I have a bachelor's degree from NYU in music education, and have played music from Mozart to Janis Joplin. I am expressive and have great depth of knowledge on clarinet, including playing rock covers on clarinet, which is uniquely something I do that rarely anyone else does or has done.
I have been playing clarinet for 14 years with performance and education experiences under my belt. When I was in high school, I was my school's concertmaster, as well as a drum major in the marching band. On top of this, I taught lessons on clarinet both in person and online through the pandemic for kids and adults alike. I have arranged for clarinet ensembles, woodwind quintets, and small symphonic rock groups.
I have been singing for 10 years. I have performed in Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall throughout high school in ensembles. I have arranged and conducted a small academic choir my junior year of college. I am currently teaching both adolescents and adults vocal lessons online, and have given specialized lessons in a New York City public school.
I have been playing saxophone for 8 years. I was a featured soloist when i was 18 in a Long Island restaurant with Mike Barnett's jazz ensemble. I have taught group lessons in a New York City middle school before the COVID-19 pandemic.
I am a unique and good teacher due to my experiences and my worldview. I am also a young teacher that can connect to young students as well as adult students. I am capable and want to let others see their own capabilities and grow from there.
