Humans do have a significant impact on the recent amount of biodiversity on Earth. Humans have over the centuries, negatively impacted biodiversity, and have caused significant decreases in biodiversity across the continents. This is due to the fact that humans exhaust resources until there are no more resources to exhaust. Humans exploit land, force species to leave their own land, and destroy areas at times. Humans threaten biodiversity globally through destruction and degradation. Factors like pollution, overpopulation, the burning of fossil fuels severely have an impact on the recent amount of biodiversity on Earth.
