Remember that A bonds to T and G with C. The problem tells you that the DNA is 32% G; there must also be 32% C; together, this is 64% of nucleotide content for that DNA sample. 36% remains to be accounted for. This must be divided between A and T. Since A binds to T, the sample must be 18% A and 18% T (Thymine).
