As the assignment suggests, I would start by grouping out the organisms.
Group 1 lives in water: bluegill, walleye, rainbow trout, turtly.
Group 2: feathers: chicken, turkey, duck
Group 3: has antlers/horns: deer, moose, caribou, elk, bison
Group 4: has fur: bobcat, black bear
Doesn't fit in any group: butterfly
Here is how the first part would go... then you just carry on from here.
A) If the organism lives in water, go to B. If not, go to E.
B) Is the organism a fish? If yes, go to the next question. If not, your organism is the turtle.
C) Is your fish long and thin or short and stout? If long and thing, go to the next question. If short and stout, your fish is the bluegill.
D) Does your fish have a rainbow pattern? If not, your organism is the walleye. If so, your organism is the rainbow trout.
