Light travels much faster than sound. That means you see things before you hear them.
The speed of light (300,000,000 m/s) is so fast that you can assume the fan sees the baseball instantly. There's a tiny delay, but not enough to affect how you answer this problem.
The sound, however, does take some time. It's traveling a distance of 122 meters at a speed of 344 meters per second. Using speed = distance/time -> 344 = 122/time -> time = 0.35 seconds
