If two angles are supplementary, they add up to 180 degrees.


Therefore,

measure of angle A + measure of angle B = 180

(2x + 8) + (2x + 8) = 180

4x + 16 = 180

4x = 164

x = 41


Therefore the measure of angle B is:

2x + 8

2(41) + 8

82 + 8

90


The measure of angle B is 90 degrees.
