Write a persuasive essay of at least five paragraphs on a contemporary or historical subject. The essay must convey your feelings and opinions on the subject and present information meant to convince readers to share your position. You should include visual or graphic elements to support your arguments.

The only way to write an essay is to begin writing. Start with an idea and a point of view. Because you need to write a persuasive essay, you must choose one side of an issue and explain reasons why others should come to believe the same. It does not have to be a controversial issue. You can write an essay about why you believe that it is better to vacation at the beach or vacation in the mountains. Whatever view you take, you must support it. For example, a mountain vacation might be cheaper, but a beach vacation is more relaxing.

A five paragraph essay shouold be like a hamburger. Bread (topic) on top. Meat and toppings (Body) and finish with Bread (a conclusion that keeps the whole thing together.
