An 87 kg skier enters the bottom of a 3.12 m Ski Jump at 7.0 m/s. Assuming no friction on the jump:


a) What is the net force on the skier while going up the 38° Jump? Ans: -525. N

b) What is the skier’s acceleration on the jump? Ans: -6.03 m/s^2

c) What is their speed at the top of the jump if there was no friction? Ans: 3.37m/s
