Hello! I do not see the DNA strands you are meant to be replicating included in your question, but when you are replicating DNA, just remember that A goes with T and G goes with C.
So if the strand was
AGCTGTC
We would replace each letter/base with its partner, like so:
TCGACAG
Notice how T replaces A, G replaces C, A replaces T, and C replaces G.
I remember which letter goes with which with the rhyme
"A to T
C to G
makes up a DNA (that's me!)"
and picture a little strand of DNA singing it. It's silly, but it's helped me never forget.
If you are converting DNA to RNA, it is the same thing, except instead of T, we now have U. So it's A to U and G to C.
How to remember this? Just call it the golden rule! (Au is the periodic symbol for gold.)
I hope this helps!
