An easy way of solving for percentages is to create two equivalent fractions and set them equal. If you want 25%, that is 25/100. The equivalent fraction would be x/2736, where x is whatever number is 25% of 2736. Then you set them equal and solve for x: 25/100 = x/2736 then multiply both sides by 2736 to isolate x. You can use this method for any percentage problem, but the part that is the unknown may change.
