I don't understand how to figure this out.

If you are going 65 mph (which means 65 miles per hour) then in 1 hour you should have traveled 65 miles. In two hours that would be 2 hours*65mph = 130 miles.

In the same way, you multiply 65 mph by the number of hours you drive to get the answer.
