Bacteria are an example of prokaryotic cells.
The three domains of life include Bacteria, Archaea, and Eukarya. Both Archaea and Bacteria consist of prokaryotic cells, and Eukarya consist of eukaryotic cells. Unlike eukaryotic cells, prokaryotic cells do not have membrane-bound organelles.
