Remember as long as you do the same thing on both sides of the equal sign both sides remain equal.

2 x 3 = 6

4 x 2 x 3 = 6 x 4

24 = 24

2x = 6

2x/2 = 6/2

2x/2 = 6/2

x = 3

therefore

V/∏r² = (∏r² h)/∏r²

V/∏r2 = (∏r2 h)/∏r2
