Note that the volume of the big container is 20*10*10 = 2000 cubic feet

 

If you have a small container that is 1 foot long by 1 foot tall by 1 foot wide, then you could

 

1.)  Weigh this small container

2.)  Fill this small container with some of the gravel from your big container and weigh it  

3.)  Subtract the weight in step 1 from the weight in step 2 to get the net weight of 1 cubic foot of gravel

4.)  Multiply the result of step 3 by 2000 to estimate the weight of 2000 cubic feet of gravel
