A cube is placed in a pool of water. If the cube is 94 cm long on each side, what is the weight of the cube? (Use 1000 kg/m3 for the density of water)

There is some information missing here.....I can GUESS that the intent was to answer the question based on the amount of water displaced.....

Assuming it is floating just under the surface then weight of cube = weight of water displaced.


Weight of water displaced = 0.94 3 x 1000 x 9.81 N

9.81 m/s/s is g (acceleration due to gravity). Weight of water displaced = volume x density x g
