Hi
Break down the following velocity vectors into their x-component and y-component: (Make sure your calculator is in degrees)
1) v0 = 25 m/s at an angle of 37 degrees above the horizontal
2) v0 = 32 m/s at an angle of 63 degrees above the horizontal
When we resolve a vector
The horizontal A Cos theta and vertical component is A Sin theta ( Where A is a vector to be considered)
So Case1
Horizontal = 25 Cos 37 ( as V0 Cos theta)
and vertical = 25 Sin 37
Similarly for case 2
Horizontal = 32 Cos 63
and Vertical 32 Sin 63
Now plug in the values of Cos 37, Sin 37 , Cos 63 and Sin63 ( All Angles are in degrees)
