Hello Chris S., Any transformation that adds or subtracts a number to both x and y is a rigid transformation. So the first question is rigid. The third question where y becomes 4y would not be rigid (the shape would change size). In the second question, x becomes x - 2. So the new x is 2 less than the old x. Which way would that move on a graph if you make x smaller? In the third question, the rule says keep x the same and multiply y by 4. So write down what you would get from (-2, 3) which is called the preimage - the starting point.
