Hi!
I wonder if Streptomycin is effective for E.coli infections?
Some sources say yes, others say that it enhances its growth.

Hi, Streptomycin is broad spectrum Anti biotic that is effective on both gram positive and negative bacteria. E.coli is a gram negative bacteria. Streptomycin will produce an effect on it. However the most effective treatment foe E.coli is trimethoprim/ sulfamethoxazole or floroquinolone.
