Prealgebra serves as excellent preparation for basic Algebraic concepts and skills learned (one year) down the line. It serves as a straightforward introduction to solving for unknown variables, exponents, working with negative numbers, reciprocals, learning about the Distributive, Commutative, and Associative Properties, all the while reviewing basic arithmetic skills when it comes to solving equations.
I have lots of experience and creative methods of teaching Prealgebra. Feel free to reach out if you are interested in learning more about it/them!
