Getting the foundation right
This is a comment on the initial answer. Using the distance formula, I found all side lengths to be the square root of 90.

The larger belt does 1/2 or 11/22 of the job in a minute.
The smaller belt does 1/22 of the job in a minute.
Together they do 11/22 + 1/22 = 12/22 = 6/11 of the job in a minute
It will thus take them 11/6 minutes to do the whole job.
