A rectangular boat is 13 m wide and 14 m long. After a truck pulls onto the ferry, the boat ends up with a depth of 6 cm submerged under the water. If the weight of the ferry is 10,000 N, what is the maximum weight of the truck? (Assume the density of water is 1000 kg/m3.)

By Arhimedus Law: W₁ + W₂ = F_A; where W₁ is weight of car, W₂ = 10000 N and F_A = Vρg = 13m·14m·0.06m·1000kg/m³·9.8m/sec² = 107016 N.

From here weight of car W₁ = 107016 N - 10000 N = 97016 N
