2 16/64=1/4
3 64/512=8/256=4/128=2/64=1/32
etc
Don't forget the negatives.
g(x) = 4 / 8x and g(x+1) = 4 / 8(x+1) = 4 / [8(8x)] = (1/8) [4 / 8x]
So, g(x+1) is 1/8 of g(x).
