What are the different systems of economic production and distrubution? As well as, what are the different systems of political authority and structure in relation to Sociology?

I have to write an essay on economic and political arrangements for my Sociology 130: Comparative Societies College Class. The question I have to write about is "Which economic and political arrangements are best for achieving the most ideal form of society?" I am having a hard time finding what the different economic and political arrangements are so that I know what to write about.

There are several different arrangements that one might suggest. If you have a particular inkling toward any government seen on the international stage today, that might be the place to start. In your opinion, what is the most ideal form of society? Does it come from a free market economy or one with more regulation and control? Would you mirror America's capitalism or push for a more socialist or communist system? A good place to begin might be how is your government organized? You could have anything from an autocracy to a democracy. From there, consider how much regulation and restriction the government should impose on the economy. Hope this helped.
