Pan's a friendly deity;
god of drunken revelry.
Enamored of wines
he blesses their vines
and capers about carefree.
Poseidon, lord of the sea,
rules o'er his watery lea.
With trident in hand
his power is grand
and any who meet him should flee.
So, there are a few tricks to figure out solutions to assignments like this. One way is to try to think of sentences with each of these words, and then make them rhyme. For example, I might say:
"I thought of those three cyclops that formed the trident with which Poseidon ruled the seas. I thought of it as I sat idly, and watched the waves in their revelry."
Then I could change revelry to revelries.
If instead you want to go a different route, you could instead pick your rhyming words first, then make a poem based off of those. For example, you could choose forge and gorge. Then write a poem including a bit about how Cronus gorged on his children, which caused them to forge an alliance against the titans. Does that help at all?

Its mouth held it like a trident. The small, seasonal sacrifice fell from a tree. Nearby, a deity stood taller than a house; While revelry put life into the verdant grassland.09/23/20
