Hello,
Think about what the plant needs for it's nutrients. If you look at the cross-section of a plant it contains many types of vascular tissue. The main ones that I would focus on for this question is the xylem and phloem.
What does the xylem transport? Water.
What does the phloem transport? Nutrients
What processes involve the distribution? How does the xylem uptake water from it's roots?
A clue I will give is Adhesion. Good luck!
