Hi Speedesz! Cool name....
Okay bottom line here is that Germany lost World War I and the the Treaty of Versailles was a DISASTER for Germany. Historians usually argue that because the Treat of Versailles was SO BAD for Germany, it ended up causing huge amounts of poverty and economic distress that then led to the rise of Hitler of World War II.
- Now that I've said that- what do you think about answer 1?
- Lloyd George of Britain and Wilson generally agreed that Germany should be punished but not totally crippled. So I would say this one is TRUE. It was France and the other Allies that wanted to really cripple Germany after the war. Wilson did not agree with that.
- Based on what I have said about Germany losing the war, what do you think is the answer to this one now?
- True. HUGE Reparations. It ended up taking over 90 years for it to be paid off!!!
- Germany was allowed to keep a very small number of troops. But certainly not their full military. FALSE
- TRUE. They lost some territories
- TRUE. These 3 dictators arise out of the economic distress caused by the Post War Period and the Great Depression.
Hope that helps:)
