How do I find the slant asymptotes?

1. h(x) = x² - 9 / x
2. f(x) = x² - x + 1 / x - 1

Asymptote y = x

(x² - x + 1) / (x + 1) = x - 2 + 3 / (x + 1)

Asymptote y = x - 2
