Let the consecutive integers be n ,(n+2) {As they are Consecutive Odd integers }
Then , just convert the word into equation
5 n = 3 (n+2) {5 times the first integer is 3 times the second integer }
Solve the above, to get
5n = 3n + 6
2n = 6
n = 3
(n+2) => 3+2 => 5
So, the smaller integer is 3 and larger integer is 5.
you can also check, 5 times the first integer is 3 times the second integer => 5(3) = 3(5)
