Hi Zozo!
The word "parallel" is just another way of saying "line with the same slope".
Since the original function is already in slope-intercept form (y = mx + b, where m = slope and b = y-intercept), you can tell that the slope of that line will be 9/23.
Any line that is parallel will have to have the same slope (9/23).
