In order to simplify this equation, we can divide the entire equation by 5, giving us the following:
x+y = -2
Now to find the x-intercept (y=0) we can plug in 0 for y.
x+0 = -2
x= -2
Therefore, the x-intercept is -2. We can do the same for the y intercept, where x=0
0+y = -2
y=-2
Therefore the y-intercept is -2.
x-intercept = -2
y-intercept = -2
