The process behind the born of a language is fascinating and complex. Let's look at Italian for example, it derives from Latin, a language that was spoken by Romans since 753 B.C., year of the foundation of Rome. Obviously during the years, Latin changed and from it derived different languages that are talked today: Italian, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Romanian. The same idea can be applicate to English. English derived from Sassonx languages. The languages speak in the north of Europe. English has the same syntax as Norway, German, Sweden, and Denmark.
I personally admire the work of J.R.R. Tolkien, the writer behind Lord of The Rings and The Hobbit, but not only. Because he created a completely new set of languages for his imaginary world from almost zero. He stole some words and terms from Old English and Old Norse, but still an amazing work that shows how brilliant he was.
