So, I don't know what level of biology you are looking at here because there are many ways to answer this question. First off, we would consider population A to be an r- type (r-selection) population, or prey population. The other population (population B) is considered a k-type (k-selection) population, or predator population. No matter what your graph looks like, you would typically expect these to be negatively correlated (if there are a lot of predators, there aren't a lot of prey, if there are a lot of prey, there probably aren't that many predators). Now I can't make the graph that you are looking for here, but I hope this block of information helps you in determining what your graph should eventually look like.
Good Luck!
