End behavior is based on the term with the highest exponent.

-3x⁴ in the first problem and -14x⁴ in the second, these with have the same end behavior. If the coefficient is positive, both ends would go toward positive∞. The negative signs reflect the function over the x axis. So both ends will go toward -∞.
