So 3*t + 5*j = 22
Also 12*t + 2*j = 25
Multiply eq 1 by 4
12*t + 20*j = 88
Subtract eq. 2 from eq 3
18*j = 63
j = 3.5
Substitute for j in eq 1
3*t + 5*3.5 = 22
t = 1.5
So trail mix is $1.5 per lb and Jelly Beans is $3.5 per lb
