Question

A baker wants to make the very best bread, and he must add just the right amount of yeast by weight. he wants to make the following: Four batches that use 2 3/4 ounces, ten batches that use 4 2/3 ounces. and eight batches that use 4 1/2 ounces of yeast. If he can only buy yeast by the pound, will one pound be enough? Exactly how much yeast will he need? If yeast sells for $3.98 per pound, how much money will he spend on yeast? Will he have any yeast left over, and how much?
