What you need to do is place a value into the input (x-variable), and solve to get your output (y-variable)
So, for example, place 0 for x:
y = 4 * 0 + 2
y = 0 + 2
y = 2
So one ordered pair would be (0, 2).
If you have a value for y, you can use that to find x. Say you have 10 for the value of y:
10 = 4x + 2
Subtract 2:
8 = 4x
Divide by 4:
2 = x
So another ordered pair would be (2, 10). Remember, the x-value always comes before the y-value.

Billy, choose a positive integer for x (that makes it easy).01/22/20

thank you, however, they are asking for a third ordered pair.01/22/20
