The equation for the volume of a cylinder is:
V = π * r2 * h
Where V is volume
Pi = 3.14159 (ratio of circumference of a circle to the diameter)
H = is the height of the cylinder
r = the radius of the base
For this problem
V = 402.12
Pi = 3.14159
r = r and
h = 2r
We know have an equation with only one variable (r) so you can just solve by algebra:
402.12 = pi * r* 2r
