why can't we attach messages to moving stars that will eventually leave the system

Question

Recently a high velocity star was discovered in Australia. I read a National Geographic article that said it would reach another galaxy in 100 million years and that led me to wonder, what if we analysed the contents of the star and attempted to attach a message into that star?

this leads onto another question, why can't NASA use the fuel in stars to power a rocket?

So it can travel far distances by making pit stops at several stars....

I don't really know what I'm talking about but I'm a huge star wars fan ahah:)

These are good ideas.Unfortunately, the technology is not currently available or will be available for quite some time. If this technology does come to existence, it will be expensive, putting up another barrier. I would encourage you to become an engineer to solve these problems!!
