The basic divisions of the cell cycle are division (Mitosis or Meiosis) and Interphase. The actual splitting of the cell, called cytokinesis, is the last step of the division phase. After the cell divides, it starts metabolising and getting bigger. This is part of interphase. The first step in interphase is called G1.
