The answer to this would be that the comb would gain electrons. When we have an object, it is made of certain atoms, right? So each of these atoms has a specific amount of protons that allows us the comb to stay made of the same elements. If we were to change the number of protons, we would change the elements. For example, Hydrogen has 1 proton, but if we add another, all of a sudden it has 2 protons and is now helium. Because of this, only electrons are said to move (be gained or lost). Since electrons have a negative charge, you can become MORE negatively charged by ADDING more negative charge, ie adding MORE electrons. Hope this helped!
