an isosceles triangle is one where 2 sides are equal.
ABC has 2 sides 4 and 6, so the 3rd side has to be either 4 or 6
same with LMN, that 3rd side has to be either 4 or 6
They could be equal in area, if the 3rd sides are the same
But a), b) or c) could be true. d) is the best answer, that you cannot determine how to compare the areas.
