Write a half page short story about the following:



You are a very important cell in the human body and have recently been put in charge of the "fight or flight" response. It is your responsibility to coordinate all activities if a threat appears, so you diligently prepare. One day, your human is confronted with natural disaster. A tornado is fast approaching his home and there is little time. He wants to save his pets and some belongings, but also wants to run as far away from danger as possible. Write a story about how you coordinate all of the systems in the body to ensure your human has the best chance of survival. Remember to include details about the fight or flight response you learned in the video. Bonus XP for creativity is possible!

So what is your question? So far, I see only the assignment you have been given. It's an interesting assignment; you must balance the various missions you have been given, and attempt to fulfill them all, OR prioritize them and accomplish only a subset. What, if anything, DID you learn from the video? About speeds of neural processing under stress, roles of various parts of the brain and endocrine glands, etc.?

If this assignment is due tomorrow, you could keep a mini-journal of how you are responding, as model input data!?
