by standard form, do you mean y = mx + b?
If so, just rearrange it:
5x = y - 2
y = 5x + 2 << m = 5 and b = 2 >>

Well we know that the standard form of a linear equation is Ax+By=C. So what needs to be done is moving the "y" term to the left side of the equation, using inverse operations (subtracting on both sides).
