If this question is asking who will the male with the x-linked trait pass this down to, then the answer would be ONLY DAUGHTERS
Males have XY while females have XX. The mother will always pass an X chromosome to her offspring, no matter if its male or female. The biological gender of a offspring is determined by the father who will either give a Y chromosome to sons or X chromosome to daughters . A X-linked trait means the trait is associated with the X chromosome. Because the father will never pass a X chromosome to his sons, the only offspring he could spread this X-linked trait to is his daughters.
