asked 10/30/19How to I formulate a unique mathematical equation to determine the building dimensions of a polar zonohedron dome ?
I want to know how to come up with the dimensions of each polygon within a "zome" (zonohedron-dome) based on predetermined height and width. That is to say, what formula can I use to plug in h and w and follow (v) guidelines to determine (p) each poly. I hope this makes sense...

A zonohedron is a form which can fill a given space seamless, the most popular zonohedron is the cubeIn order to create a polyhedral structure, the helix zome cone is split in half, to create a dome-like structure. Also, the half helix is truncated into n-steps. One of the obvious advantages is that its struts are all the same length, yet, the area they cover changes because they all are rhombuses.
You check this website http://www.pendred.net/Polyhedra/Zomes.htm it has good visuals.
