Epidermis is keratinized stratified  squamous epithelium consisting of  four distinct cell types and four to five different layers.

 

Epidermal cells:

 

keratinocytes, melanocytes, epidermal dendritic cells and Merkel cells

 

Epidermal Layers:

 

Basal, Prickly, Granular, Clear and Horny.

 

The listed tissues do not have those cells and layers and therefore, none of them are epidermal. Nick has nicely explained the origin of each tissue.

loose connective tissue is a category of tissue that includes, areolar, recticular, and adipose

 

adipose is found in the hypodermis, and recticular is found in several places in the body, but in the skin only in the dermal and hypodermal layers (surrounding lymph nodes primarily)

 

 

It is my understanding that the epidermis is mostly made up of stratified squamous epithelium, and are mostly dead cells with the exception of the lowest layer of cells in the epidermis which still recieve nourishment from the dermis.
