Naina, a versatile tutor
Epidermis is keratinized stratified squamous epithelium consisting of four distinct cell types and four to five different layers.
Epidermal cells:
keratinocytes, melanocytes, epidermal dendritic cells and Merkel cells
Epidermal Layers:
Basal, Prickly, Granular, Clear and Horny.
The listed tissues do not have those cells and layers and therefore, none of them are epidermal. Nick has nicely explained the origin of each tissue.
