It's actually unknown exactly where Alzheimer's diseases comes from. It is thought to be a mixture of genetics and epigenetics. Additionally, there are different forms of Alzheimer's (ex early onset) which may be more heritable than the other types.
Tl;dr: It is both genetics and environmental/epigenetics. The degree by which it is genetic/environmental depends on an individual's form of alzheimer's and unique situation.
