There are 27 amendments to the U.S. constitution. The first 10 are called the Bill of Rights.

1. Right to freedom of religion, assembly, press, petition, and speech (RAPPS)
2. Right by a well-regulated militia to bare arms
3. in reaction to to the Quartering Act, soldiers should not be quartered in times of peace, etc. (reminder- 3 is company)
4. Right to be secure in your home without fear of unreasonable search and seizures. A warrant is required, in reaction to writs of assistance
