There are 27 amendments to the U.S. constitution. The first 10 are called the Bill of Rights.
- Right to freedom of religion, assembly, press, petition, and speech (RAPPS)
- Right by a well-regulated militia to bare arms
- in reaction to to the Quartering Act, soldiers should not be quartered in times of peace, etc. (reminder- 3 is company)
- Right to be secure in your home without fear of unreasonable search and seizures. A warrant is required, in reaction to writs of assistance
